Despite the draw with the senior team., The Kansanshi football family recorded a series of strong performances over the weekend across with women’s team, developmental side, and academy. From solid away results to dominant home displays, the boys and girls proudly represented our colours with energy and determination.
Kansanshi Dynamos FC | MTN Super League
Result: GBFC 1–1 KDFC
Venue: Edwin Imboela Stadium
Match Day: Week 14
Kansanshi Dynamos came into
the game looking to build momentum from their previous result, and showed great composure on the road. Though the opening quarter was balanced, KDFC began to settle and created good attacking movements through Willy and Bebe.
The second half burst into life when GBFC received a red card in the 57th minute, putting the Abanga Boys in the driving seat. Just two minutes later, Willy Bokingo broke the deadlock with a composed finish in the 59th minute.
Despite controlling possession, KDFC could not extend their lead, and GBFC equalised in the 67th minute through Martin Njovu. The match ended 1–1, marking a second draw for the team under Coach Fathi, with plenty of positives to carry forward.

Young Kansanshi United | FAZ Division One North-western League (Zone A)
Result: Young Kansanshi Utd 4–1 Mumpulumba FC
Venue: Independence Stadium, Annex
Match Day: Week 17
Young Kansanshi delivered one of their most complete performances of the season with an emphatic 4–1 victory.
The boys set the tone early, applying pressure high up the pitch. Happy C. opened the scoring in the 17th minute for the visitors. Situmbeko made a superb finish in the 23rd minute to equalize for Young Kansanshi.
The dominance continued in the second half. Christopher restored control with a goal in the 76th minute before William Daka decided the result in style, scoring twice in the 87th and 89th minutes to complete a remarkable brace.
The win lifts Young Kansanshi to 5th position, sitting on 27 points, and highlights the technical growth within the squad.

Kansanshi Queens | ZPL Women National League
Result: Kansanshi Queens 2–0 Mufulira Wanderers Queens
Venue: Independence Stadium Annex
Match Day: Week 12
The Queens maintained their strong home form with another confident display, securing a well-deserved 2–0 win in Solwezi.
The team settled early and controlled the midfield tempo. Mercy Bweembya put the Queens ahead in the 26th minute with a smart finish. Her sharp timing and movement posed problems for the Wanderers’ defence throughout the match.
In the second half, Mercy doubled the advantage in the 56th minute, completing her brace and ensuring full points for Kansanshi Queens. The defence remained organized, limiting the visitors to half-chances.
This result reflects the progress and consistency of the ladies this season.


Kansanshi Academy
Result: Mitukutuku 0–3 Kansanshi Academy**
The Academy boys extended their strong run with a solid 3–0 win on the road. Their performance highlighted maturity, teamwork, and good defensive discipline. The young talents continue to showcase promising quality as they grow within the Kansanshi development structure.
