Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Zambian international forward, Brian Mwila, on a short contract of three months.
Mwila joins the Mabanga Boys as a free agent after his recent spell in the Angolan Premier League with Sagrada Esperança. The striker brings a wealth of experience, having previously featured for top Zambian sides including Green Buffaloes, Zanaco, Power Dynamos, and Buildcon.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Mwila expressed his excitement about joining Kansanshi Dynamos, describing it as a club on the rise.
“I’m excited. Kansanshi Dynamos is not a small club, it’s a big club that has shown it can play good football. As a striker, you always want to be part of a team that plays good football, and I’m happy to be here.” He said.
Although the team has displayed impressive performances this season, victories have remained elusive, a challenge Mwila is eager to help overcome.

“Obviously, the club has brought me in to perform a certain role, the role of a striker,” he explained.
“My job is to help the team get goals and work together as a unit. I’ve come here not to change anything, but to give my best and contribute to the team’s success.”
Confident and battle-ready, the 29-year-old says his focus is to help Kansanshi Dynamos achieve their ambitions this season.
“I’m always ready, like a soldier. In football, you need to be a warrior,” Mwila said. “My target is to help the team maintain their place in the MTN Super League. In football, everything is possible.”
And to the fans, Mwila had a reassuring message:
“People should just expect the Brian they know. I know what I’m capable of, and nothing has changed.”
Mwila’s arrival adds both experience and firepower to the Kansanshi Dynamos frontline as the team continues its push for good results in the Zambia’s top flight.
