KDFC Look to Build on Last Week Ahead of Wanderers Trip…

Kansanshi Dynamos FC will be pushing for a breakthrough as they search for their first win tomorrow, 26th September, when they take on Mufulira Wanderers FC in Week-6 of the MTN Super League.

After a hard-fought 1–0 loss to Green Eagles last weekend, the Mabanga Boys are determined to bounce back and secure their first victory of the season.

Luck has not been on Coach Zeddy Saileti’s side, as the team has gone five games without a win, recording two draws and three losses.

On the league table, five points separate the two sides: Mufulira Wanderers sit 11th with seven points, while Kansanshi are 16th with two points, pushing to improve their standing with a positive result in the Copperbelt.

Speaking ahead of the match, Coach Zeddy expressed confidence in the squad and high expectations for Friday’s game:

“It’s a big game, and our expectations are very high. We haven’t won a game yet, so we are looking forward to getting the maximum points. Last week, the team showed great fighting spirit and good character, and we’re still pushing the boys. We are confident we can win this game.”

On preparing the team and maintaining momentum:

“We’ve been talking to the boys and going through our drills. Consistency will help us win the game. If we can build on where we left off against Green Eagles, I think we’ll do even better on Friday.”

Regarding their opponents, Coach Zeddy acknowledged Mufulira Wanderers’ home advantage:

“They are strong at home and have passionate supporters. But we just need to be mentally strong and adapt to the game on Friday. Every player is ready to perform, and we are confident in our preparation.”
