It was a positive weekend for the Kansanshi Dynamos family, with both teams that played registering victories!
The senior team finally recorded their first win of the season, edging Nchanga Rangers 1β0 at Independence Stadium.
The victory came in a week that saw the club part ways with Head Coach Zeddy Saileti and appoint Yoram Kasempa as Second Assistant Coach and current Interim Head Coach, as the club finalizes appointments for the substantive Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions.
The boys showed hunger and resilience from the first whistle, creating several chances through Kezron Kizito and Kalonji Mwepu, while Gwazani Banda stood tall to deny a clear Nchanga opportunity before halftime.
Then came the moment of magic, a brilliant build-up involving Brian Mwila and Garry Mwelwa before Willy Bokingo finished it off with a spectacular bicycle kick to send the Solwezi faithful into celebration!

At the junior level, Young Kansanshi United also had reason to celebrate after claiming a home victory, beating Ikelenge Young Stars 1β0, thanks to a 63rd-minute strike from Luckson Kavumbi in their Week 12 match of the FAZ Division One North-Western League.
