Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club on Friday took time away from football to support the community, donating assorted items worth K10,000.00 to Cheshire Home Primary School in a heartfelt Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The visit brought smiles, excitement and inspiration to learners at the special needs school as members of the clubβs technical bench and management interacted with pupils and staff through motivational messages and sporting activities.

Speaking during the event, Mupeta said the gesture symbolised the clubβs gratitude to the supporters and wider community.
βWe are a team that believes in giving gratitude and appreciation to the community when we are supported. At the end of the season, we felt it was important to come back and appreciate the community,β he said.
As part of the gesture, the club also donated footballs and presented an official Kansanshi Dynamos jersey to the school, while encouraging the learners to actively participate in sports and remain hopeful about their future dreams.
Mupeta further encouraged the pupils to use sport as a positive tool for growth and discipline, reminding them that football can help keep young people focused and away from negative influences.
Receiving the donation, Cheshire Home Primary School thanked Kansanshi Dynamos FC for the thoughtful gesture, describing it as a source of encouragement and joy to the learners.
βYour kindness is not only a blessing to the school, but also an encouragement to every child represented here today,β the school said during the event.
The CSR activity comes just a day before Kansanshi Dynamos conclude their MTN Super League season with a home fixture against Nkana FC at Independence Stadium.
