The past weekend saw only our senior team in action, while the rest of the Kansanshi Dynamos FC family had no scheduled fixtures.

Our senior side, the Mabanga Boys, made the trip to Lusaka for their Week Two MTN Super League encounter against Zanaco FC. Despite a disciplined first-half display and a push for goals in the second, the boys fell 1-0 after Lambert Araina’s strike proved the difference. It wasn’t the performance the team wanted, but the focus now shifts to this coming weekend, when Kansanshi Dynamos will host Konkola Blades in Week Three an opportunity to respond positively in front of our home fans at Independence Stadium.

For our other sides:

  • Kansanshi Queens were not scheduled to play this past weekend in the ZPL Women’s National League – North. Their next assignment comes this weekend, when they travel to face Kakonde Titans in week-3.
  • Young Kansanshi United are still preparing for their season opener, with the FAZ North-Western Provincial Division One League set to kick off on September 6th, with week-3 fixture as week -1 and 2 will be rescheduled.
  • Kansanshi Academy (U15 & U17) continues with training, as their fixtures are yet to begin.

While only one team was on duty, the entire Kansanshi Dynamos family is gearing up for a busy and exciting stretch of football ahead. The spirit remains high across all levels of the club, as we continue building towards our goals.
