Senior Team – Kansanshi Dynamos FC.
The senior team continued their fine run of form with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Nkwazi FC in a Week 16 MTN Super League encounter played at Independence Stadium in Solwezi.
The match was attended by Solwezi Mayor Remmy Kalepa, alongside officials from club sponsors Kansanshi Mining PLC, led by club patron Ryan Ellis and Mazila Mwinga, Manager – Human Resources at Kansanshi Mine. Their presence provided added motivation for the team.
The Mabanga Boys made a bright start and were rewarded in the 7th minute when Mwepu Kalonji found the back of the net to score what proved to be the match-winning goal.
Kansanshi Dynamos controlled large spells of the game, showing discipline and organisation, especially in the second half as Nkwazi pushed for an equaliser. Despite late pressure, the hosts held firm to secure a crucial second consecutive win.
Assistant Coach Dennis Makinka praised the players’ effort and unity after the match, highlighting the team’s compact approach and the importance of consistency going forward.

Young Kansanshi United were held to a 2–2 draw by Manyama in their Week 21 fixture of the FAZ Division One North-Western Provincial League.
The young Mabanga Boys started strongly and took the lead on two occasions, but the hosts responded each time to ensure the match ended all square.
Willian Daka and Gilpin Shemi were on the scoresheet for Young Kansanshi United, who showed attacking intent but had to settle for a share of the spoils.
