Solwezi, Zambia – 18 August 2026: Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Ugandan forward Joseph Ssemujju on a 17-month contract running from August 2026 to December 2027.
Ssemujju joins the Fearless Mabanga Boys as a free agent after most recently featuring for Uganda Premier League side URA FC. The forward, who primarily operates as a striker, adds further attacking options to the squad.
The signing forms part of the Club’s preparations for the 2026 Transitional League, which kicks off on 3 October 2026, as the Club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new campaign.
Club General Secretary Mweshi Mupeta welcomed the new signing, saying Ssemujju’s addition is part of the Club’s continued efforts to build a competitive squad ahead of the Transitional League.
“We are pleased to welcome Joseph to Kansanshi Dynamos. We believe his qualities will add value to the team as we prepare for the Transitional League. We look forward to seeing him contribute to the Club’s objectives and settle well into the team,” said Mupeta.
Speaking after completing his move, Ssemujju expressed his excitement at joining Kansanshi Dynamos and his eagerness to contribute to the team.
“I’m excited and happy to be here. Kansanshi Dynamos fans should expect goals because I’m a striker, and my role is to try and score goals. I want to elevate my game, do my best and push for the team,” said Ssemujju.
