It was a busy weekend at home for Kansanshi Dynamos teams, with all sides in action at Independence Stadium. The Queens and developmental side secured important victories, while the senior team shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

While a home victory would have been ideal for the senior team, the point earned keeps the Mabanga Boys focused as they prepare for the next challenge.

A special appreciation goes to the Mabanga Family for their incredible support, showing up in numbers despite the rainy weather to rally behind the team. The club also extends gratitude to Solwezi Mayor Remmy Kalepa for purchasing 200 match tickets to support the fans and create a strong atmosphere at Independence Stadium.

Head coach Mohamed Fathi returned to the touchline after a month away completing his CAF Pro License course in Egypt, as Kansanshi Dynamos played to a 1-1 draw against Mutondo FC in their Week 21 fixture.

Mutondo showed early intent, creating nervy moments for the Kansanshi defence, including an incident where goalkeeper Gwazani rushed out to challenge for the ball outside the box, only for the defence to recover well and clear the danger. Seeking more attacking urgency, Fathi introduced Garry Mwelwa in the second half, with the midfielder testing the goalkeeper from long range.

The visitors took the lead late in the match through Joseph Kiala Kiala, but Kalonji Mwepu responded almost immediately with the equaliser to bring the Mabanga Boys level. Mutondo were later reduced to ten men after Joseph Mbulo received a second yellow card, but Kansanshi Dynamos could not find a late winner.

The result sees the team maintain 13th position on the table, now with 22 points.
