Kansanshi Dynamos FC will tomorrow play their first away fixture of the season as they visit Sunset Stadium to take on Zanaco FC in Week Two of the MTN Super League.
Coming from a goalless draw in Week One, Head Coach Zeddy Saileti says his technical bench has prepared the team both mentally and physically for this encounter.
Speaking to KDFC Media, Coach Saileti shared his thoughts ahead of the match:
On expectations for the game:
βFrom the last game where we drew against Kabwe Warriors, weβve worked on our mistakes. Itβs been a long week of preparation, and weβre looking forward to getting maximum points. At the moment the team is ready, weβve done our homework, made the corrections, and I think weβre set for tomorrowβs game.β
On focus areas:
βWe donβt have major problems in defense; the bigger issue was upfront. We created chances but didnβt convert them. This week weβve worked on finishing drills and built confidence in our strikers and the team overall so we can be more clinical in front of goal. Winning games in the early stages of the league means we need to score.β
On facing Zanaco:
βZanaco also have a new team. We donβt have a lot of insight on them yet, but with all respect, theyβre a big team. Still, weβll treat this as an important match for Kansanshi and approach it with focus.β
On improving away form:
βItβs all about mindset. Weβve spoken to the players and motivated them. We canβt just rely on home games β if we want to challenge in this competition, we need to win away too. Tomorrow is a good opportunity for us to start doing that.β
On team news:
βNo injuries, everyone thatβs featured in the last game is fit and available.β
