Kansanshi Dynamos players have successfully undergone medical examinations as part of the club’s preparations for the 2025/26 MTN Super League season.
The pre-season medicals followed a structured process, beginning with internal assessments conducted by the club’s medical team. These included physical evaluations, injury checks, and general fitness screenings. Players were also referred to hospital facilities for more detailed procedures such as cardiac screening and lab tests, in line with professional football medical standards.
Head Coach Zeddy Saileti and his technical bench are expected to commence full training sessions today, following the medical clearance of the majority of the squad.
Team medic Blessed Simukulwa confirmed that most players have completed both internal and external medical assessments and are fit to begin training, except for Kizito Keziron, who is expected to rejoin the team later this week upon his return from Uganda.
“We ensure every player is thoroughly examined before stepping back on the pitch. The process includes both internal checks here at the club and hospital-based assessments for more detailed screenings. So far, everything has gone well. The players are in good condition, and we’ll proceed with physical fitness evaluations as training resumes,” said Simukulwa.
The medical screenings are a crucial part of pre-season preparations, aimed at confirming player readiness and preventing injury.
Kansanshi Dynamos return to the MTN Super League this season after earning promotion from the National League, having finished second on the log in the 2024/25 campaign.
