GWAZANI JOINS MABANGA BOYS ON TWO-YEAR DEAL

Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club has completed the signing of goalkeeper Gwazani Banda on a two-year contract, adding depth and competition to the squad ahead of the 2025/26 MTN Super League campaign.

Banda, who last featured for Mutondo Stars in the previous season, becomes the fourth addition to the goalkeeping department at the Solwezi-based side. His arrival is expected to provide more options and bolster the team’s defensive stability as the season progresses.

Speaking on the signing, Club General Secretary, Mr. Mweshi Mupeta, expressed his delight at the new recruit:
“We are excited to have Gwazani Banda join the Mabanga Boys. His addition brings more strength to our goalkeeping squad, and we believe he will be a key part of our ambitions this season.” Mr. Mupeta said.

The goalkeeper himself could not hide his excitement,
“I’m happy to be part of the Fearless Mabanga Boys, and I hope to achieve great things with the team.” Gwazani said.

Head Coach Zeddy Saileti also welcomed Banda, noting his potential contribution:
“Gwazani is a hardworking goalkeeper who will push himself and others in the squad. Competition is healthy, and his arrival gives us more options between the posts.”

Banda’s arrival comes as the Mabanga Boys prepare for a crucial Week 3 MTN Super League clash against Konkola Blades at Independence Stadium today.
