Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club unveiled four new players on Saturday to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2025/26 MTN Super League season, which kicks off on August 16.
Following their official unveiling at the clubβs secretariat in Solwezi, the new signings expressed excitement and determination, pledging to contribute positively to the team as Kansanshi Dynamos prepares for its return to topflight action.
The unveiling of these four players has already sparked joy among the fans, who are eagerly looking forward to the start of the league.
Among the arrivals is Faustina Bakodila, a central defender who brings leadership and experience to the backline after his time with Power Dynamos.
βAfter a long time at Power, I am happy to be here to contribute to the club,β Bakodila said. βIβm looking forward to making an impact, and I know Iβll be motivated here.β
Striker Lucky Sikanyika was equally thrilled to join the Mabanga Boys, describing the move as a dream fulfilled.
βI ask everyone to support me and motivate me,β he said. βI feel good to be here. I feel at home. It has been my dream to play for Kansanshi since I was young β this is a dream come true.
As a striker, I know I need to work harder, score more goals, and contribute more to the team. I will give my best for the fans.β
Mubiana Muleta, a midfielder from Lumwana Radiants, is determined to make his mark in midfield.
βI feel nice to join Kansanshi. I know I need to work hard as a midfielder β create chances, make assists, and support the team.β
Garry Mwelwa, a winger also signed from Lumwana Radiants, praised the clubβs vision and atmosphere.
βI already feel at home here,β he said. βThis is an exciting team with big ambitions, and the players are amazing. I want to contribute to the team, and I promise to do my best to help bring more glory to Kansanshi Dynamos.β
