KANSANSHI DYNAMOS BOLSTER SQUAD AHEAD OF 2025/26 CAMPAIGN
Solwezi, Zambia – [5 July 2025]
Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club is excited to announce the acquisition of Faustina Bakodila and three additional players ahead of the 2025/26 MTN Super League season, as part of ongoing efforts to reinforce the squad and ensure a competitive return to Zambia’s topflight.
Joining the Mabanga Boys on a two-year contract are:
- Faustina Bakodila – central defender from Power Dynamos.
- Mubiana Muleta – midfielder from Lumwana Radiants.
- Lucky Sikanyika – striker from Mufulira Wanderers.
- Garry Mwelwa – versatile winger, also from Lumwana Radiants.
All four players have linked up with the squad for pre-season and are expected to bring added experience and depth to Coach Zeddy Saileti’s side ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
“These signings reflect our ambition to compete strongly upon our return to the Super League. We have identified key areas that needed strengthening, and we believe the new players will contribute significantly both on and off the pitch. It’s an exciting phase for the club and the fans,” said General Secretary Mr. Mweshi Mupeta.
In the same spirit of growth and transition, the club also confirms the departure of six players who will not feature in the upcoming season. These include defenders Marcel Kalonda and Girese Muyumba, midfielders Kunda Mazinga and George Chisala, and striker Dave Daka, whose contracts have not been renewed. Winger Nyalambi Siwale departs by mutual consent.
